Who we support

There isn't much point raising money to save the world without having really fantastic charities as our beneficiaries.

Luckily for us we have partnered with four stupendous organisations.

We thought pretty carefully about these choices. These are people whose focus is defeating the real underlying causes of endemic poverty in the developing world.

Oxfam

Oxfam are one of the world's foremost development organisations and barely need an introduction. But hey, let's go ahead and introduce them anyway.

Oxfam is an independent, not-for-profit, secular, community-based aid and development organisation. Their work includes long-term development projects, responding to emergencies and campaigning for a more just world.

Oxfam

Oaktree are an entirely youth run development agency. They organise fantastic projects in developing countries such as East Timor, South Africa and the Philippines as well as being powerful advocates against poverty.

They're young, they're passionate and they're committed to working in partnership to fight the reality of poverty. Their mission is to empower developing communities through education in a way that is sustainable and makes a lasting difference.

We here at ripple are big fans of their work.

Oxfam

WaterAid is an international non government organisation dedicated exclusively to the provision of safe domestic water, sanitation and hygiene education to the world's poorest people. WaterAid works by helping local organisations set up low cost, sustainable projects using appropriate technology that can be managed by the community itself.

Oxfam

Grameen are an amazing organisation which pioneered the concept of microcredit and are world leaders in providing developing communities with a true path out of poverty.

But don't ask us...ask the Nobel Peace Prize committee. They just gave Grameen the Nobel Peace Prize.
